The Boundary Pushing Ceramics of Jeremy Cole
Striking a balance between art and design, Jeremy Cole’s distinctive floral style arises from an aesthetic exploration surrounding the relationship between ceramics and light as well as the boundary between flora and art.
Pushing the boundaries of ceramics since 2005, his soft and elegant pieces, made of bone porcelain, play with light and translucency through soft, flowery shapes and forms.. Each piece is create in his New Zealand studio with a small team of skilled artisans. Cole physically handcrafts each design and oversees the entire production process. His floral ceramic works can be found in luxury residences and superyachts around the globe as well as in museum collections.
The simple and elegant aesthetic of Jeremy Cole has won him praise from discerning clients, including commissions for Harry Winston (globally), Franck Muller, Bulgari, Cadillac, Four Seasons Resorts, Neiman Marcus and Air New Zealand to name but a few.
Outside of his existing collections, which are available to purchase, a small number of customised private commissions are accepted each year – alongside large-scale commercial work.
Embodying a philosophy that incorporates “beauty, elegance and craftsmanship,” his moto is “…To constantly deliver through my mediums, beauty, elegance and craftsmanship, nothing more and nothing less…”
Simply gorgeous!
