The Cellulose Factory is designer of the waste stream cellulose. They design a varied range of circular products that are sustainable in use. During the design process, they strive to achieve climate-neutral products.
The Cellulose Factory is the winner of the Circular Challenge 2019 in Eindhoven. During the challenge, we developed a circular product made from the waste stream from the pharmafilter. They developed this circular product for the Catharina hospital to achieve the ambitions of the Green Deal. The ambitions of reducing the CO2 emissions and creating a circular work environment.
In the developing of our circular product, they discovered various opportunities for the material cellulose. Therefore, the circular product functions as a Minimal Viable Product for generating income to invest in the development of cellulose. The Cellulose Factory strives towards a future in which the entire waste stream of cellulose becomes circular.
