Dungse is a range of new circular building materials made out of cowdung. Next to circular materials, a part of the Dungse materials are also biodegradable.

Dungse’s composites can be used as an alternative for traditional materials such as (virgin) wood, plastic and other stoney materials in construction but also for other design purposes as home products and accessories. They can be used for making panels but also as three dimensional objects as a final product.

By combining cowdung in different proportions with different biobased waste materials and binding agents, Dungse is able to create new innovative composites that present characteristics in unique combinations which normally are not found in traditional materials.

Among the most appealing aspects are combinations of natural textures and colours, with a light weight, open or closed structures, and in cases also a soft surface.
