Lignealuce panels are made out of wood, combined with coloured acrylic. To create the interchanging effect, the panels are cut straight or curved and the gap is then filled with acrylic resin. This resin acts as an adhesive and is strong enough to hold the wood together, so that it behaves as one panel. The panels can be made from various woods and the acrylic is available in different colours. Also clear acrylic may be used to create a translucent effect.
