norament® 926 pado
- story by Nora flooring systems
norament® 926 pado is a rubber flooring collection inspired by the classic terrazzo design. The mosaic-like grains of norament® 926 pado are skilfully processed and give rooms a beautiful and elegant atmosphere. norament® 926 pado, like all Interface floors, is certified carbon neutral throughout its product lifecycle through the third-party verified Carbon Neutral Floors™ program.
Inspired by classic designs
Terrazzo is known as an eye-catcher of old villas and classical buildings. However, the striking patterns and design of terrazzo more and more often seen in modern interior settings. norament® 926 pado has a slightly textured, two-tone surface characterized by single-colored granules embedded in the product. The nora® design ensures that the new collection fits seamlessly with the terrazzo trend, combined with a long lifespan.
“With this design, we offer a trendy, modern floor with terrazzo influences that creates a unique visual depth and a natural look,” says Dirk Oswald, Head of nora® Brand and Product Management. “The characteristic granulate scattering, the solid material in granular form, is at the heart of this design. In some designs within this collection we also integrate recycled chips from our nora® production. By using residual material we reduce the amount of waste in our entire production, while supporting our sustainability goals.”
As with all nora® floor solutions, this collection also offers ease of maintenance and long-term durability due to the solid surface of the floor. This makes it the ideal solution for public spaces. Because the floor is and remains so elastic, there is less impact noise with norament® products than with hard floors, which noticeably improves the acoustics.
As this collection is part of Interface’s modular flooring system, architects and designers can easily combine norament® 926 pado with Interface’s other flooring products: carpet tiles and luxury vinyl tiles (LVT).
