Jansen by ODS accepted the circular economy challenge. In its efforts to reduce CO2 and build with reused steel material, harvested with urban mining techniques, they have constructed a circular steel curtain wall system. The Jansen Viss profiles are designed for reversibility, so reuse of the material is possible. The steel is durable and with the proper care it can stay in the circular loop of design, build, use and harvest. Integral construction with partners in the consortium Harvest Bay enables circular building concepts to come to realisation.
One example is the Harvest House concept with which you can add space on top of your roof, use the sustainable steel structure as tiny house or build spaces within existing buildings.
