The surface is made from leather fibres which is a byproduct of the shoe leather industry. The surface gets a treatment of natural oils and wax which makes it strong, durable, robust and easy to maintain. The material is warm, and offers noise and heat insulation.
Veledo is a material which is available in two forms: in roll form or in tiles. The tiles are manufactured from leatherfibres, natural latex, cork and HDF. The leather fibres are glued to a HDF panel with a back panel made from cork.
The collection consists of three different designs – Croco, Torró and Buffalo – in different colours, from vanilla to warm browns to black.
The Rolls are 130 cm in width the tiles are about 90 cm long and 30 cm wide with a total thickness of about 11 mm. The package is 1.67 m2, thus 6 leather parts per package.
The tiles can be connected via Tretfords TopLoc system which insures placement without adhesives.
