Eterno is a cementitious mineral surface material developed for seamless floors, walls and stairs in both interior and exterior applications. Combining white cement with carefully graded natural stone aggregates, the material offers a durable architectural finish that can be customised in colour, texture and appearance.
The material consists of water, sand, cement and mineral aggregates. Fragments of natural stone are incorporated in a balanced grain distribution, creating a decorative surface with a contemporary, terrazzo-like appearance. White cement serves as the binder and can be coloured with mineral-compatible pigments, while the type, size and colour of the aggregates allow a wide range of customised finishes.
Eterno is available in the variants Chrono, Unico and Terrazzo. The material is installed by pouring it in situ or casting it as precast elements, followed by curing, grinding and polishing to produce the final surface. This process creates a dense, durable finish suitable for high-traffic environments and a variety of architectural applications.
The mineral composition provides a hard-wearing surface with low maintenance requirements and a long service life. Based on high-performance concrete technology, the material is designed for durability, with an expected design life of at least 80 years under appropriate conditions.
From a lifecycle perspective, Eterno is intended to support long-term building performance through its durability and adaptability. Concrete elements can remain in use for extended periods, while their structural flexibility allows refurbishment or repurposing during a building’s lifespan. At the end of service life, the mineral material can also be processed for recycling into new construction applications.
