A newly completed private residence in the village of Tvaladi, Georgia, showcases a refined architectural dialogue between traditional materials and contemporary design. Created by NS STUDIO, the one-storey dwelling integrates locally sourced stone and timber with minimalist volumes and expansive glazing, forging a strong connection with its natural surroundings.

A Contextual Design Philosophy

The architectural concept centres on harmonising past and present. With its stone façade and timber construction, the house pays homage to vernacular building techniques while adopting a clean, modern silhouette. The architectural language reflects regional identity through material authenticity, reinforcing the house’s rootedness in place.
