Francisco Cumellas was created in 1992 by Kiko Cumellas, who designs and commercializes their own contemporary collections. Made by the best artisans from the North of India, the rugs are handmade with natural materials specially chosen for their high quality like silk, line, cotton, linen, hemp, viscose and jute.

The sister brand of Francisco Cumellas, Barcelona Rugs, was founded in 2014 by Xavier Papiol, the third generation of a long family tradition that began in 1959. This experience leads the company to focus on the design of its own collections, the commitment to craft-making – sustainability and concern for the environment and society – international expansion and innovation in design, materials and techniques.
