This paper feels like normal paper, but is made from a waste material: elephant dung. Elephant eat a lot of plants produce poop containing a lot of fibres. To make the paper, the dung is dried, cleaned, spread out and compressed. Lastly, the material is cut to size and if necessary processed further to make paper products.
The material requires no deforestation and provides jobs for people who are otherwise unemployed.
