Papair develops paper-based packaging materials designed to replace plastic cushioning solutions such as bubble wrap. The products are fully recyclable, free from plastics and adhesives, and are presented as compliant with the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). The range is intended for protective packaging in logistics, e-commerce and industrial applications.
The core product, PapairWrap, is a flexible paper cushioning material designed to provide shock absorption while maintaining low material volume. It can be applied directly around products and is suitable for items such as electrical appliances, tools, spare parts, furniture and ceramics. Variants within the range include PapairWrap Plus, which incorporates a multifunctional coating to provide scratch protection and additional resistance to moisture and condensation, and is also available in bag and sheet formats.
PapairBag consists of padded paper bags manufactured in customised sizes and configurations for shipping accessories, spare parts and small components. PapairSleeve is designed as a protective paper sleeve for bottles and cylindrical products, helping to prevent scratches and impact damage during transport. PapairSheet provides flat paper cushioning sheets for use as intermediate layers in logistics and production processes, and can be adapted to standardised packaging systems. PapairFill comprises padded paper bags filled with shredded waste cardboard for void filling in shipping cartons and can be reused and recycled.
Papair packaging materials are intended for use across a range of sectors, including consumer goods, electronics, cosmetics, industrial equipment and logistics. The company positions its products as compatible with existing packaging processes and suitable for both primary and secondary packaging applications.
