Ilse Evers is founder of Dutch design studio Eversom. They transform rejected fire hoses into powerful objects, ranging from monumental rugs to detailed room dividers, playful wall covers and everlasting bags. Circular design with a classic beauty and a heroic story. With her background in theater and dance Ilse is trained to use objects and materials in ways they weren’t designed for. Looking at possibilities and qualities beyond its first perspective, opens a world of possibilities that can elongate the lifetime of a material.
