These acoustic peat panels are made of 85% shape-pressed surface peat and 15% recycled PET plastic, coloured using water-based paint. Surface peat, sourced in design company’s Innofusor’s home land Finland, is a tried and tested material with a centuries-old pedigree. When processed into an acoustic material, surface peat becomes a beautiful product with excellent acoustic properties. Surface peat is warm, safe and visually engaging.
