A real life invisibility cloak
Canadian company HyperStealth Biotechnology Corp. developed a light bending material called Quantum Stealth, which functions as a real life invisibility cloak.
The paper-thin material bends visible light, hiding an object or person standing behind it. In addition, it also bends ultraviolet and infrared light, while it blocks the thermal spectrum, making the object behind it almost truly invisible.
The now patent pending material is said to be inexpensive. It can hide objects and people, but also larger things like ships and even buildings. The Quantum Stealth material can work in any environment, any season and any time of day and night.
