Vegan accessories and footwear brand Verda developed a line of shoes made of grape leather.

The line, which consists of both women’s and men’s shoes, has replaced all leather parts with grape leather. The vegan leather alternative is made of wine waste (skin, seeds, and stalks of grapes) from Italy.

In addition to the leather alternative, the shoes are made with recycled in- and outsoles and lining, and recycled or organic cotton thread. The women’s heeled boot features wooden heels. The footwear is designed in Paris and handmade in Portugal.

The line consists of heeled and laced boots and loafers, and also includes a unisex bag. The products are currently available on Kickstarter.
