Biobased

Biobased materials are simply materials derived from living organisms. Examples are wood, leather, silk and wool. Plant waste and fish leather are less common examples. In essence, anything that can reproduce can be the basis of a biobased material. Developments are in full swing and this will improve the quality and the affordability of biobased materials, so they can be used more and more.
