The 100% Wool Curtain Collection by Royal Vriesco consists of room-high curtain fabrics manufactured entirely from mulesing-free wool. Developed for residential and commercial interiors, the collection combines the natural performance of wool with a focus on renewable materials and long-term durability.

As a renewable natural fibre, wool offers a range of inherent functional properties without requiring extensive chemical treatment. It is naturally flame-retardant, thermally insulating, sound-absorbing and antistatic, while also exhibiting resistance to odours and staining. The crimped structure of wool fibres provides elasticity, allowing the fabric to recover from creasing and maintain its appearance over time.

The collection comprises two curtain qualities. Lana is a semi-transparent room-high fabric available in four neutral colours, while Shepherd FR is a densely woven, double-faced room-high fabric offered in six natural shades. Both fabrics are manufactured from 100% wool and are free from harsh chemical treatments. Variations in texture are characteristic of the natural fibre and contribute to the material’s visual appearance.

The wool used in the collection is sourced from mulesing-free sheep, reflecting a focus on animal welfare throughout the supply chain. In addition, the fabrics are biodegradable at the end of their service life and are manufactured from a renewable raw material, supporting the use of bio-based materials in interior applications.

Shepherd FR is naturally flame-retardant and carries an OEKO-TEX® certification, while both curtain qualities contribute to improved indoor comfort through their acoustic absorption and thermal insulation properties. The room-high format also enables large curtain installations with fewer seams, making the collection suitable for a variety of residential, hospitality and workplace interiors.
