Fassade is a timber façade cladding collection developed by Woodstoxx as an alternative to tropical hardwood for exterior applications. The collection combines thermally modified timber with protective surface treatments to enhance durability and weather resistance while maintaining the natural appearance of wood.

The collection includes three timber species: Abechi and Pina. Abechi, an African softwood, is available in a wide range of façade profiles and is characterised by a fine, straight grain that creates a uniform and understated appearance. Pina, a Western European timber species, features a more pronounced grain pattern and visible knots, providing a more textured and expressive façade.

All façade boards are treated with Woodstoxx’s patented Duricoat® process. This surface treatment is designed to improve scratch resistance and moisture resistance while promoting either more uniform weathering or long-term colour retention, depending on the selected finish. The collection is available in seven standard colours, allowing a variety of architectural expressions.

For projects with enhanced fire performance requirements, the cladding can be supplied with the optional Duriflame® fire-retardant treatment. When installed as part of the specified façade system, the treated timber can achieve European fire classifications up to Class B or Class C, depending on the timber species and system configuration.
