Luxalon® Multi-Panel is a modular linear ceiling system developed by Hunter Douglas Architectural for interior applications. Designed to offer a high degree of design flexibility, the system enables architects and designers to create a wide variety of ceiling compositions while integrating acoustic, lighting and aesthetic requirements.
The system comprises eight aluminium panel profiles with different widths and heights, allowing multiple panel dimensions to be combined within a single ceiling. All panel types are compatible with one standard carrier system, simplifying specification and installation while providing flexibility in layout.
Panels are available in both plain and perforated versions. Perforated panels can contribute to improved acoustic performance when combined with appropriate acoustic backing materials, while solid panels provide a continuous linear appearance. The modular system accommodates a range of design configurations, including straight, curved, radial and diagonal layouts, enabling ceilings to respond to different architectural concepts.
A standard 20 mm joint separates adjacent panels and can be specified as an open reveal, fitted with a closure profile, or integrated with Luxalon® Lightlines to incorporate linear lighting into the ceiling design. This flexibility allows the ceiling to combine visual rhythm with functional building services.
The aluminium panels are available in a broad selection of colours and finishes, providing opportunities to create customised interior environments for applications including offices, transport hubs, retail spaces, educational facilities and public buildings.
