Nevidek Kokos 300 is a felt product made from 100% natural coconut fibres, with a natural latex layer on the surface to provide additional bonding.

Thanks to its high natural resilience, Nevidek Kokos 300 is used in high-performance resiliently supported floors (floating floors) to reduce impact sound. In these applications, Nevidek Kokos 300 functions as the resilient layer and is covered with sheet materials or a wet-applied screed. Its dynamic stiffness is highly favourable compared to mineral wool or crushed polystyrene, which are commonly used in the construction industry. In addition, Nevidek Kokos 300 can withstand high loads of up to 2,000 kg/m², making it suitable for demanding applications such as supermarkets.

Nevidek Kokos 300 is supplied in boards with thicknesses of 6 mm and 12 mm. For wet-applied screeds such as sand–cement or anhydrite, a double layer of 2 × 12 mm Nevidek Kokos 300 is typically used.

In addition, Nevima combines strips of Nevidek Kokos 300 with chipboard battens or metal profiles to produce acoustically decoupled IVI studs. These studs can be used to create high-performance sound-insulating walls or ceilings.
