A controller made of reclaimed materials

Microsoft unveiled a special edition Xbox controller made partly from recycled plastic, including surplus old controller parts.

The Remix Special Edition wireless controller is made of one third ‘regrind’, a raw material feedstock that results from processing leftover manufacturing scrap or unused product into a recycled plastic that can be used, along with new plastic, to manufacture new products. The regrind used consists of previously moulded coloured parts, and is mixed with post-consumer recycled resins. Each controller has custom, earth-tone colours with subtle variations, making each controller unique.

The controller comes with a rechargeable battery.
