LED-lit ski suits and cinematic brilliance bring a sublime new aesthetic to skiing in this amazing video for Sweetgrass Production’s latest ski movie ‘Afterglow.’ Shot entirely at night in the backcountry of Alaska and British Columbia, Afterglow is a collaboration with Swedish ad agency Ahlstrand & Wållgren and Philips TV.

The LED suits worn by the featured ski professionals were custom ordered from Patagonia and Arc’teryx . Over 7000 tiny LEDS were sewn into each gore-tex suit and then wired to a battery that can fit in your hand.

“Overall, it’s an incredibly unique partnership between our vision of skiing and the colour and light technology behind the Philips Ambilight TV,” the team writes on their Vimeo Page.
