Together with Broeinest, and following our successful ‘Biobased Materials‘ Exhibition (on until April 1), we are excited to bring forward the fascinating world of smart textiles in this cutting edge exhibition. This exhibition will demonstrate not only the enormous material capability, but also the future possibility that smart textiles have to improve our lives and the built environment.

Whether used for fashion, interior design, the automotive industry,furniture, architecture or design, and whether woven or non-woven or knitted by robots; textiles are an excellent medium to simultaneously perform multiple functions.

Strong and lightweight, flexible, transportable, self-cleaning, antibacterial, odour purifying or daylight regulating, with sensors that react to blood pressure or heart rate; the development of textiles is growing in every sector. Many of these latest textiles will be here at Broeinest, located at Strijp-S, Eindhoven.
