Circular Collection – Shadows of Light

The Circular Collection is a result of research project Shadows of Light. Shadows of Light is a research project to create sustainable white translucent porcelain, through recycling. The research was broadened throughout the years and involved all sorts of ceramic waste. Shards, bisque fired and raw materials, porcelain, stoneware and earthenware. Each type of waste has its own qualities, each with unique tactile or colour qualities. This material sample collection contains a selection of possibilities made from ceramic waste. The samples can be up-scaled in number and shape and they can be used for multiple purposes.
