Circular Terrazzo

Terrazzo, a traditional flooring material, is reimagined by Chryssa Kotoula to address glaze waste in ceramics. Inspired by the improvisational nature of terrazzo, salvaged glaze remnants integrate into the clay body, echoing the terrazzo technique. Handmade tiles and unique vessels emerge, resembling archaeological artifacts. This circular approach transforms waste into tangible reminders of history, forging new chains of value.
