Finti® is a sustainable and environmentally friendly replacement for tropical hardwood. The material is thermally preserved, certified Scandinavian softwood (pine and spruce) with a number of special advantages.

The wood is sourced in Finland and Letland from FSC®- and PEFC®-certified forests. With its exterior class 2, it is more durable than many traditional tropical wood types, such as Meranti and Mahoni. By treating the raw material for Finti® changes the cell structure. This improves the insulation values,
dimensional stability and durability.

60 to 80 percent of the energy required for thermal modification is generated from residual materials, such as bark and sawdust. Finti® is completely free from hazardous and environmentally harmful acids and other chemical/harmful preservatives.

The material is suitable for use in facades, window frames, doors, etc.
