G-Desmet has developed a biobased adhesive, the first of its kind within the wood bending sector. The adhesive is formaldehyde-free, offering an alternative to conventional bonding solutions used in this field.

The production process of the adhesive results in 25% lower CO₂ emissions compared to traditional systems.

In terms of mechanical and physical performance, the adhesive matches the properties of urea-formaldehyde (UF) resins. This enables it to be applied across the same range of applications without compromising structural integrity or durability.
