Hydrophobic & Oleophobic Coatings

These coating materials are specifically developed so they can bond with many different surfaces. The coatings work at nano-scale and create an easy to clean, anti-smudge layer. They are currently being used for eyeglasses and other surfaces such as flat panel displays and stainless steel.

Aculon’s nano-scale coatings create a water-repellant (hydrophobic) and oil-repellant (oleophobic) surface to repel water, dust, oil, and dirt.
