Novifil PLM20
Novifil PLM-20 is a biobased filament for 3D printing, developed and manufactured in France. It combines a PLA base with miscanthus plant fibres sourced from Seine-et-Marne.
The miscanthus fibres give printed objects a naturally warm, golden appearance, with visible plant fibres throughout the material. The degree of translucency changes according to the wall thickness of the printed object, allowing designers to use light and geometry as part of the material expression. The filament can be used for decorative objects, lighting, models, exhibition elements, installations and prototypes.
Novifil PLM-20 is available in diameters of 1.75 and 2.85 mm and can be processed using conventional FDM 3D printers. Recommended settings include a 0.60 mm brass or steel nozzle, a printing temperature of 190–220 °C and a heated bed at 60 °C.
