Sustainable construction requires materials that not only deliver aesthetically and technically, but also contribute to a lower ecological impact. With Popura Clickwood on Grad, Awood introduces an innovative biobased material for façade and decking applications.

Popura is made from fast growing (10–20 years old) poplar wood and undergoes a unique process: the log is first peeled into veneer, after which a bio-modification is applied to enhance strength, stability, and durability.

The result is a hard, dimensionally stable, and fire safe product with a Class B fire rating. Thanks to the grooves on the underside, the boards can be effortlessly installed using the Grad mounting system.
