Renoprene
Circular Flow Limited has developed RENOPRENE™, a fully circular material made from recycled neoprene sourced from end-of-life wetsuits, other discarded neoprene products and manufacturing offcuts.
The material is the result of more than five years of research, prototyping and testing to create what the company describes as the world’s first large-scale, fully circular solution for neoprene recycling. Its zero-waste production process uses almost no water and takes place at Circular Flow Limited’s solar-powered facility.
No hazardous chemicals are used in the process. RENOPRENE™ complies fully with the EU REACH Regulation and RoHS requirements and is PVC-free.
The stated properties apply to RENOPRENE™ in its pure form. However, the company can adapt its performance through lamination or coating. For example, laminating the material with a fire-retardant fabric can provide enhanced fire-retardant properties. Samples demonstrating the available finishes and variations are available upon request.
