Treekind®

Treekind® is a low-carbon, waste-based alternative to leather that is completely free of plastics and harsh chemicals. The material is made for the mainstream market using urban plant waste, agricultural waste and forestry waste.

Treekind® has been extensively ISO tested against animal leather requirements and in 2024 the material was certified by the USDA as 100% biobased. Treekind® is home-compostable and uses less than 0.1% of the water in equivalent conventional leather production.
