Cas van der Zanden – Spacer. On Fantasy, Creativity, Innovation in the field of Architecture

Cas van der Zanden graduated in Architectural Engineering at the Delft University of Technology in 2016. After his graduation he worked as a product developer for Woodteq and Drystack, gaining experience in ceramics and solid timber. In 2019 van der Zanden started his freelance master builder office as a designer and contractor to further experiment with tools, machines and materials in small scale housing projects. In 2022 he built the “The Rebel House”. Cas was responsible for both the iconic design and the construction of the house and this house is the first project where his radical vision on housing is shown.
