In this session you will be introduced to the Environmental Impact Tool. With this tool you quickly gain insight into the structure of the environmental impact of a product, such as the shadow costs and the CO2 footprint. This insight helps to evaluate products and (circular) design choices and to work on optimizations in a targeted manner. This session is relevant for designers, (SME) companies and clients who want more control over environmental impact, in order to make effective choices. David is part of the CIRCO and CIRCONNECT expert team and substantively involved in the development of CIRCONNECT tools. With experience in environmental impact studies, circular design methods, and relevant legislation, he is committed to helping entrepreneurs take targeted steps in sustainable development.
