With his architectural firm Ruimtelab, he works in various collaborations on design and advice in the field of the circular city, bio-based construction and the design of urban nature. The starting point is to combine design and research for innovative architecture and urban development. The results have been published in, among others, ‘Making Urban Nature’ and ‘Building Urban Nature’, of which Jacques is one of the authors, together with Piet Vollaard and Niels de Zwarte. He also gives workshops, fulfills the role of advisor and is a design lecturer at TU Delft.
