Materia exhibiting at Domotex Asia/Chinafloor 2014

Materia will be present at Domotex Asia/Chinafloor in Shanghai 2014 with an exciting selection of flooring materials, specifically for the Asian market.

Besides a strong materials presence, Materia is also co-hosting a programme of international experts at the Shanghai Architects Fair. The theme of the lectures and discussions during this seminar is “Rethinking the Future”. Speakers include:

– Kasper Guldager Jørgensen, partner of 3XN, on ‘Smart materials and Smart architecture’;

– Irma van Oort, partner of KCAP Architects & Planners, on ‘The future of Urban Architecture’;

– Joan Saba, Partner of NBBJ, ‘The future of Healthcare Architecture’;

– Els Zijlstra, Materia founder, on ‘Innovative and Sustainable Materials for the Future’.

These carefully selected speakers will all share their particular expertise with the audience. In the ‘Dialogue with a master’ section of the conference, the floor will be open to anyone with a question to one of the key international experts.

Both the materials exhibition and the international conference are designed to allow for maximum inspiration for all the professional visitors.

The exhibition at Domotex Asia/Chinafloor focuses on three key areas for the flooring industries: sustainability, health and ceramics & stones. Whether dealing with the most important trends in current design, such as sustainable building, easy maintenance, or the aspects of health and hygiene within a space, flooring materials have lots to contribute.

Materia’s exhibition at the fair will demonstrate this and much more. Featuring ultra-thin stone veneers, porous stones and extremely light-weight ceramics as well as bio-based, recycled and renewable materials, there will be something for everyone at Domotex Asia/Chinafloor.

Materia will be present during the Domotex Asia/Chinafloor show in Shanghai. The event is held from March 25th – 27th 2014. Visit the show to experience how Materia’s selection of innovative materials will help designers to create floors for a healthier and more sustainable built future.
