Materia exhibition: Magnificent Materials

During R&T in Shanghai from 21 until 23 March 2017, Materia will be present with the exhibition “Magnificent Materials”. This exhibition consists of a mix of special material for interior and architecture. No less than 250 beautiful materials will inspire the visitor.

Whether it is about natural cork or raw concrete, shining cheerful plastic or fragile subtle silk, industrial metal or luxurious natural stone: every material has its own charm and extraordinary qualities. And the modern and innovative versions of these materials are multifunctional, smart, original, sustainable and beautiful. How about textile made from paper, plaster made from recycled jeans, a 2.5D printed surface, perfumed textile and light-absorbing coatings? Super lightweight panels, ultra thin vacuum isolation, colour changing textile or flexible concrete veneer? Transparent concrete, skin soft gel pillows, panels made from tree bark, or composites made of hemp? R&T Asia is the leading fair in Asia for roller shutters and doors, window covering and sunshades. The fair takes place in the Shanghai New International Exhibition Centre (SNIEC) from 21-23 March 2017. The visitors are architects, interior architects and other creative professionals.
