Nexus

Nexus is a wallcovering by Vescom made from Xorel, the company’s woven polyethylene material. Its composition is 100% polyethylene, consisting of 85% biobased PE and 15% conventional PE.

The yarn is twisted to create an irregular, mottled texture. Woven from thin polyethylene yarns, the surface also has a soft opalescence.

Nexus is available in 18 shades, ranging from whites and creams to silvers and architectural neutrals. The wallcovering has a width of approximately 132 cm and weighs around 420 g/m².

The material is Cradle to Cradle Certified® Gold and has Indoor Air Quality Gold certification. Vescom describes it as durable, flame retardant and easy to clean, which makes it suitable for high-traffic contract spaces.

Nexus is part of a recolouring of Vescom’s Xorel range, presented together with Dash. Dash has a two-tone grid structure, is available in 14 colours and contains 65% biobased PE. Vescom suggests combining the wallcoverings with coloured glass, metal and polished marble, or contrasting them with materials such as mohair and travertine.
