Coffee brand Nespresso and Swedish cycle and lifestyle brand Vélosophy designed a new and improved model of the in 2019 presented bicycle, made of recycled Nespresso coffee cups.

Called RE:CYCLE, the bicycle is an updated model of the previous bicycle, which was presented in 2019 (read more about it here). The city bike consists of 95% recycle aluminium, of which 20% from recycled coffee cups (about 600 cups). This is double the amount of recycled aluminium and recycled cups than the previous version. In addition, the bicycles are produced in Europe this time.

The blue colour was inspired by Nespresso’s summer campaign in 2023. The bell is capsule shaped, and the basket comes with two cup holders.

For every sold bicycle, one bike is donated to a girl in a developing country.
