Materialization of the Healthy Office with Francesco Messori – Material Xperience

‘Flex Work’ has become a buzzword, but does this design principle contribute to a better and healthier work environment? Interior design studio D/DOCK has taken this concept to the next level with the launch of the Healing Offices concept: work environments where taboos no longer exist and where dogma’s are challenged; where happy employees mean a lower absenteeism and increased productivity. A concept that focuses on the wellbeing, health and lifestyle of the individual by creating the right environment.

Francesco Messori, partner and Design Director of D/DOCK, will be at Material Xperience on Thursday, February 12th, 2015 @ 14:00 to introduce this design approach, which focuses on the experience of the end-user. He explains how materialization contributes to a healthier work environment and how this influences the wellbeing of the employee and, in the long run, the cost structure and revenue of an organization.

As co-founder and Design Director of interior design studio D/DOCK, Francesco is a pioneer when it comes to environmental design. He has worked with many well-known designers such as Andrea Branzi, Marcel Wanders and architect and founder of the Cradle to Cradle principle William McDonough, while being an architect and former teacher at the Domus Academy in Milan.

D/DOCK has collaborated with national and internationally respected clients such as Google, Philips, B/S/H/, TomTom, VUmc Amsterdam and 20th Century Fox. The studio is currently working on the new work environment of Delta Lloyd, Sonos and the prestigious NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky, operating in countries as Austria, China, Taipei and Aruba.

Tickets to this lecture are free when you register for Material Xperience.
