Shoes made with grapes and bananas

Sustainable British footwear brand Good News teamed up with H&M to design a line of footwear made with textile made of banana plant fibres called Bananatex, and vegan leather made with grape waste called Vegea.

The unisex trainer collection consists of seven trainers and one pair of sliders in seventies-inspired colours. There is also a kids’ collection featuring three different trainers. They include sustainable materials like recycled rubber soles, recycled cotton, Bananatex and Vegea.

The shoes will be available in April.
