  1. Material3io3io is a material system developed from renewable resources, merging biological matter with robotic precision, to create expressive, high-performance objects. The blends combine a wide spectrum of biobased materials including: PHA, PCL, PLA, bio-PE, bio-PA, lignin, cellulose, natural resins, waxes, oils, and plant fibres, resulting in thermoplastic composites consisting of up to 100% renewable content.
  2. MaterialSoft HouseSoft House integrates plastic photo-voltaics, natural photo-luminescent pigments and light emitting semi-conductor technologies into movable curtains, translucent textile screens and luminous room enclosures. This distributed energy network is soft and flexible.
  3. MaterialSEFAR Architecture TENARA FabricSEFAR Architecture TENARA Fabric is an all-fluoropolymer composite; the underlying scrim is made of high strength expanded PTFE yarn. The scrim is coated on both faces with a flexible fluoropolymer layer which imparts waterproofness and the ability to be thermally or high frequency welded to create strong seams.
  4. MaterialArchitectural TitaniumThe excellent corrosion resistance of architectural titanium results from the formation of a very stable, continuous surface. Because titanium metal itself is highly reactive, a beneficial oxide film forms immediately when exposed to moisture or air. Architectural titanium can be supplied in surface finishes and textures like linear brushed, smooth, textured and even a polished mirror version.
  5. MaterialSEFAR ARCHITECTURE INTERIOR/EXTERIORSefar Architecture is a high-performing line of interior and exterior fabrics that achieve light transmission rates of 90%. The transmitted light contains a high proportion of scattered light, providing balanced illumination and giving the impression that the fabric is a light source. Lightweight, UV-resistant and sound absorbing, these high-performing fabrics are an ideal material for tensioned fabric structures.
  6. MaterialSefar Architecture FabricsThese Sefar architecture fabrics are made of synthetic fluoropolymers. Due to special finishing and coating techniques, the fabrics have a high UV durability without fading. All fabrics in this range are highly flame-resistant producing nearly no smoke and are free of burning droplets. The material achieves a light transmission rate of > 90%.
  7. MaterialArchitectural Glass SurfacesPatterned glass using post-industrial (2/3) and reclaimed (1/3) glass. It is manufactured by fusing the glass with ceramic stains under intense heat to form flat slabs of glass with a gentle coloured look. No other materials or binders are used in the process. The glass is cooled slowly to an annealed state so that it can be cut and polished to specification. It comes in 30mm thick sheets.
  8. MaterialArchitectural meshThe weaves and mesh types manufactured by Haver & Boecker for architectural applications. The choice of weft and warps, as well as the weave type, result in a wide range of mesh patterns, from a fine to a crude weave, each with specific look and light effect. Some variations are only suitable for interior use.
  9. MaterialMetal Meshes for ArchitectureThe range of stainless steel Metal Meshes for Architecture is available in many different patterns, each with it’s own characteristics and optical effect. Many of these patterns are unique to Potter and Soar and are design registered.
  10. MaterialKerrigan Architectural TileThese high relief, large format ceramic architectural tiles are designed and manufactured by Bryan Kerrigan, using a high fired stoneware clay body and glazes from Mason Color Works. The hand sculpted ceramic tiles are oversized, glossy, super 3-d pieces that are more art than decor.
  11. MaterialArchitectural sheetsThe architectural sheets of Forms and Surfaces are mainly used for interior applications. The surfaces range from smooth to coarse and from closed to semi-transparant open structures.
  12. MaterialKaynemaile architectural MeshThis mesh is based on a traditional European chainmail assembly and produced via a continuous injection moulding process, forming a 3D impact-absorbing structure made up of solid rings with no joints or seams. Made from a self-extinguishing, fire resistant and UV stabilised high-spec polycarbonate, it is virtually impossible to scratch or damage.
  13. MaterialSefar Architecture VisionThis open weave fabric is finely woven from black PET (polyester) fibres and coated on one side with a layer of metal measuring 140 micrometers. Possible metal coatings include aluminium, titanium or gold, while the reverse side is black in colour. The metalised fabric side can optionally have a copper, gold or special design printed on it.
  14. MaterialArchitectural MetalsThe products of Polich Tallix are durable, and economically and truly one of a kind. Surfaces are available in silicon bronze, white bronze, aluminum, stainless steel, steel and precious metals.
  15. MaterialFelt for ArchitectureA collection of handmade three-dimensional carpets and wall hangings. They are created using traditional techniques and are based on the concept of Claudio Varone. The Felt material, made of 100% wool, or combined with silk, flax, cotton and other materials.
  16. MaterialArchitectural GlassInteraction between furnace, materials and techniques gives unlimited freedom of shape. What is needed is a way of adapting CAD programs to the production of moulds on which glass can be heated and pressed. Printing techniques and sandblasting enables the creation a strong 3-D effect.
